Novant Health believes in expanding healthcare beyond the walls of our hospitals, clinics and facilities. We demonstrate this commitment by investing in the people we serve with a focus on equity, empathy, safety and quality to help our communities grow and succeed. 

Novant Health provides support through programs and partnerships dedicated to building safe and healthy communities. Our community engagement department works collaboratively to support the people and neighborhoods we serve, helping more people learn about the remarkable care Novant Health provides, increasing access and creating ways for our team members to connect, give back and grow alongside the communities they care for and about. 

Caring for our communities to strengthen well-being 

Novant Health is dedicated to helping address identified health and social needs vital to each community’s well-being by supporting programs that: 

• Align with the Community Health Needs Assessment’s identified areas of community benefit at each medical center (please connect with your regional community engagement team to learn more). 
• Increase access to healthcare services through programs that address transportation, medication assistance and medical home connection programs. 
•  Promote healthy behaviors, awareness of risk factors, access to resources focused on mental health, substance use disorders, and chronic disease management and prevention. 
• Enhance workforce development opportunities for communities that need them the most. 
• Expand safe and healthy housing opportunities for neighbors in need. 
• Increase access to healthy food and food security. 
• Collaborate with community partners to tap into the healing power of the arts through our Art of Remarkable Care initiative.

How to apply for support

If you are interested in requesting investment from Novant Health: 

• Please submit an online request.
• To best serve your needs, we will need 16 weeks' notice for event sponsorship requests. 
• We will be unable to approve requests submitted less than 12 weeks before the event.
