Carolina Surgical of Charlotte has joined Novant Health Medical Group, the physician division of Novant Health. The group of five board-certified surgeons provides both general and specialty surgical care and includes Drs. Ilan D. Avin, Wyatt C. Fowler, Carl J. Lowe, Jr., Michael G. Melkonian and Peter S. Turk. The group is also supported by advanced practice clinicians, Jessica Michalak and Lauren Sandberg, and registered dietitian, Victoria Levesque. Its new name will be Novant Health Carolina Surgical.
