WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (June 24, 2024) – Novant Health welcomes Sanjeev Sah as its chief information security officer (CISO). Sah, who has more than 25 years of experience in information technology and security, has held executive roles in a variety of industries, including health care, higher education, insurance and the automotive industry. He began his new role June 24.
Most recently, Sah served as the senior vice president, IT Strategy & Cyber at CommonSpirit Health, where he led strategic planning and execution of large-scale IT initiatives while ensuring and enabling robust cybersecurity measures. In the role, he managed multiyear cyber plans, developed an information security office and led efforts to enhance cybersecurity posture.
“Sanjeev’s vast experience and expertise make him a strong addition to our team as we carefully navigate the everchanging cybersecurity landscape,” said Onyeka Nchege, executive vice president, and chief digital and information officer, Novant Health. “He will spearhead efforts to build on Novant Health’s best-in-class information security, safeguard our network and protect sensitive health information as we continue to innovate and discover new ways to provide remarkable care for our patients and communities.”
Sah holds a Master of Health Administration and a bachelor’s degree in information technology and information systems security from the University of Phoenix.
