BOLIVIA, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to welcome Olapeju Popoola, certified physician assistant, to Novant Health Psychiatric Medicine. Popoola joined the clinic in April and will see patients with a referral from a primary care or specialty provider only.
Popoola received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Savannah, Georgia. She has experience in performing psychiatric evaluations and managing medications to stabilize mental health conditions for adult and geriatric patients.
At Novant Health Psychiatric Medicine, Popoola will provide medication management for:
- ADHD/ADD.
- Anger.
- Anxiety.
- Bipolar disorder.
- Depression.
- Post-traumatic stress disorder.
- Substance use disorders.
