GREENSBORO, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to welcome Dr. David Bouska, physician assistant Sarah Gordon and nurse practitioner Janis Puglisi to Novant Health New Garden Medical Associates.
The clinic, in the northwest part of Greensboro, provides a full range of family health services for children and adults and emphasizes disease prevention and continuity of care. Services include:
· General check-ups for infants, children, adolescents and adults.
· Women's health, gynecological exams, contraceptive assistance and Pap tests.
· Immunizations.
· Preventive care.
· Dermatological care.
· Minor skin surgical procedures.
· Diabetes care.
· High blood pressure management.
Bouska received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and completed medical school at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. Before joining Novant Health, Bouska worked at Regional Physicians Family Medicine – Adams Farm in Greensboro.
Gordon received both her bachelor’s degree and physician assistant studies degree from High Point University in High Point.
Puglisi received her bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton before completing her master’s degree of science in nursing at Duke University in Durham. Puglisi went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earning a PhD in nursing.
