“We are honored and proud to once again be recognized in Forbes’ list of top ranked employers in North Carolina,” said John Gizdic, executive vice president and chief administrative officer, Novant Health. “This recognition underscores the incredible work that happens every day to ensure our team members know they are valued and are able thrive both personally and professionally.”

  • Hosting regular virtual town halls open to all team members that allow them to ask live questions and hear directly from the president and CEO alongside other leaders.

According to Forbes and Statista, the rankings are divided by state, plus the District of Columbia, and are generated from input on an independent survey of U.S. employees working for companies from all industry sectors employing more than 500 employees in the United States. Additionally, scores are based on more than 2.1 million employer recommendations. The evaluation was made on a state-by-state basis and is based on three distinct criteria, evaluating employers positively or negatively including: in-state indirect recommendations, national in-industry indirect recommendations and direct recommendations. Survey respondents were also asked to rate their employers on a variety of criteria, including work conditions, diversity, salary, potential development and more.
