Novant Health Announces Charlotte Welcome Back Fest Entertainment Lineup and Food Vendors

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ― Novant Health today announced the entertainment lineup and food trucks and vendors for its Welcome Back Fest street festival at Romare Bearden Park on Saturday, July 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The entertainment lineup includes Grammy Award-winning artist artist Anthony Hamilton, as well as an America’s Got Talent participant, a Grammy-nominated producer and several well-known local bands playing a variety of music. The free event is open to the community and does not require tickets for entry. The first 1,000 attendees with proof of vaccination are eligible to receive a $10 food voucher for use with food vendors on-site. Vaccinations will be available at the event for both walk-ins and with pre-registration. Anyone can register to get their vaccine at WelcomBackFest2021.comAs a reminder, there is no cost for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Entertainers of all backgrounds and food truck vendors were invited to apply to participate in Novant Health’s Welcome Back Fest and those selected are being compensated for their involvement.

Novant Health is hosting the Welcome Back Fest street festivals in Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Wilmington to mark the progress made in the fight against COVID-19. The free community events, which are scheduled on three different days in July and August, aim to support diverse local businesses, honor health care heroes and celebrate the milestones reached with the help of community members.
