WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health has named Heather Dunn as senior vice president and chief revenue officer, a newly created position to steward Novant Health's revenue cycle strategy. In this role, she will lead Novant Health’s billing department, including financial assistance programs, interface with payors, and identify integration and strategic opportunities. She began March 17.

Dunn was most recently president of The SSI Group, a privately held healthcare revenue cycle technology company. She was also previously vice president, finance and chief revenue cycle officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and executive director, revenue operations and clinical coding at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Before those positions, she worked in financial and information technology roles with Kaiser Permanente and Roper St. Francis.
Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in information technology and her Master of Business Administration in health informatics from New England College.
