WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine on Robinhood Road now offers walk-in appointments on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, making it easier for patients to get care when they need it most.
The clinic, located at 200 Robinhood Medical Plaza, now provides walk-in availability Monday through Saturday as a convenient alternative to the emergency room or urgent care for unexpected injuries. Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Orthopedic injuries are never planned,” said Tom Caldwell, director of the Novant Health Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute in the Triad. “Whether it’s a youth soccer injury or simply a sprain from yard work, our goal with early intervention is to address pain quickly, obtain X-rays to rule out fractures, improve outcomes and help patients get back to the activities they enjoy.”
In addition to the Robinhood location, two other Novant Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine clinics in Kernersville and Thomasville provide same-day/walk-in appointments during the week. Personalized care plans include on-site imaging, casting and bracing, physical therapy, medication and minimally invasive surgical options.
With more than 35 surgeons and specialty-trained clinicians in the Triad, Novant Health offers comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine care – from minor injuries to advanced surgery.
