Novant Health brings specialized rheumatology and arthritis care to Kernersville

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – Novant Health has expanded access to care for patients with rheumatic conditions, including arthritis and osteoporosis, by opening a new specialty clinic in Kernersville.

Novant Health Rheumatology & Arthritis is located next to Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center at 1730 Kernersville Medical Parkway, Suite 201. The clinic specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with autoimmune diseases and musculoskeletal disorders.

“There are more than 100 rheumatic diseases that can negatively affect a person’s quality of life,” said Dr. Pawan KC, a Novant Health rheumatologist who sees patients in Kernersville and Winston-Salem. “While some of these conditions are chronic, our team is focused on working with each patient to get the right diagnosis as soon as possible so we can establish a personalized treatment plan. In many cases, we can improve symptoms, restore function and help renew a sense of hope for our patients.”

Novant Health Rheumatology & Arthritis regularly treats a wide range of conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus, osteoarthritis, tendonitis and vasculitis, a type of blood vessel inflammation. The clinic is also well-equipped to provide patients with routine lab testing, joint injections and infusion therapy.
