Novant Health Foundation Presbyterian Medical Center to Host Annual Oyster Roast & Crawfish Boil

Proceeds to benefit Novant Health Cancer Care

Novant Health Foundation Presbyterian Medical Center is raising awareness and funds for Novant Health Cancer Care services through their annual Oyster Roast & Crawfish Boil. This year’s event will be held on Friday, Mar.7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Cotswold-area home of Susan and Hayes Woollen, MD.

Highlights from low-country affair include music from the Blue Dogs, a bluegrass band, and delicious oysters and crawfish from The Palm Restaurant.

“As an organization, it is an honor to host a night of New Orleans-style fun while raising money for a great cause,” said Beth Crigler, senior director, Novant Health Foundation Presbyterian Medical Center. “The Oyster Roast & Crawfish Boil helps bring hope to cancer patients by supporting programs that are instrumental in their journey through treatment.”

Novant Health Cancer Care offers patients undergoing treatment and their families support in the way of survivor education, rehab and wellness programs, as well as support groups and counseling. Understanding the significant financial impact a cancer diagnosis has on a family, most programs are free or scholarship-based.
