SUMMERVILLE, S.C. – Novant Health is broadening access to primary care and specialty services in the Lowcountry with the addition of four new clinics in the Nexton community of Summerville. The new clinics are the latest addition to a multiyear investment by Novant Health to serve the rapidly growing region.
Each of the four clinics is scheduled to open in March. They will occupy a newly developed commercial space at Dayfield Park, located at 406 Brighton Park Blvd., Suite 101. Team members celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony March 5 alongside the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to the Dayfield Park clinics, Novant Health is currently building a healthcare hub with a medical office building and freestanding emergency department in Summers Corner. Construction is also underway on a freestanding emergency department on Daniel Island, and a new Center for Women’s Health at East Cooper Medical Center.
New clinic: Novant Health Dayfield Park OB/GYN
Novant Health Dayfield Park OB/GYN provides comprehensive gynecologic services for all stages of life, from routine care to advanced services for more complex concerns. Services at this location include preventive care, prenatal and postnatal care, advanced gynecologic services and long-term wellness support.
The clinical team will feature Tyler Pierce, MD, a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist with more than 14 years of experience in the Carolinas.

Novant Health primary care providers play a vital role in preventive health and the early detection and management of chronic conditions. The addition of Novant Health Dayfield Park Primary Care is part of Novant Health’s efforts to meet the demand for primary care across the greater Charleston area.
The clinical team will feature Sarah Minter, DO, an experienced primary care physician committed to building long-term relationships with patients to help them manage their health at every stage of life. Dr. Minter will begin serving patients at the Dayfield Park location on March 9.

Patients now have the opportunity to see clinicians with Novant Health General Surgery & Bariatrics at a Dayfield Park secondary location, open once a week. New and established patients can benefit from the same expertise in Summerville beginning Thursday, March 19.

Clinic relocation: Novant Health East Cooper Maternal-Fetal Medicine - Dayfield Park
Maternal-fetal medicine specialists at Novant Health East Cooper Maternal-Fetal Medicine - Dayfield Park see patients before and during pregnancy and are committed to understanding and addressing each patient's unique needs, from genetic counseling to high-risk pregnancy.
The clinical team will feature Alison Dillon, MD, a maternal fetal medicine specialist. Dillon is based at Novant Health East Cooper Medical Center and also serves patients at a clinic in Santee. She will serve patients at the Dayfield Park location on Thursdays, beginning March 19. This new Nexton location will replace the current satellite clinic at Island Park on Daniel Island.
