CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Novant Health has named Guillermo Sanabia to dual leadership roles as president, Novant Health Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital, and vice president of operations, Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.
In his role, Sanabia will lead the overall operations for both facilities. Additionally, he will guide efforts that drive outstanding patient outcomes, ensuring the effective implementation of strategic initiatives that benefit both facilities and the organization.
“Having Guillermo at the helm for operations at both our flagship Charlotte hospital and our orthopedic hospital positions us well for the future,” said Jamie Feinour, president of acute care operations for the Charlotte Region and Presbyterian Medical Center. “His leadership, vision, and extensive experience in safety and quality, growth, financial performance, team member engagement and patient experience will be key in driving operational excellence and advancing Novant Health’s commitment to remarkable care.”
Sanabia’s career in healthcare spans more than two decades, including at large systems in Florida and Georgia. He previously also served as senior director, hospital operations at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center.
