CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to announce the opening of Novant Health Primary Care Marvin Creek and Novant Health Psychiatry Marvin Creek.
Novant Health Primary Care Marvin Creek will be staffed by Dr. Joseph Foust. He attended Columbia University in New York for his undergraduate degree. Foust then went on to attend Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia where his received his medical degree. Following medical school, he completed a family medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Foust is a board-certified family practitioner and is accepting new patients.
Novant Health Primary Care Marvin Creek offers well-child checkups, sick-child visits, immunizations, flu shots, physicals, Medicare annual wellness visits, sexually transmitted disease screenings, treatment of acute minor illnesses, management of chronic illnesses, gynecological exams and women’s health services, ear washes, vision and hearing screenings, and on-site lab tests. Novant Health Psychiatry Marvin Creek provides children, adolescents and adults with diagnosis and treatment of mental health concerns, including anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder, anger and chronic irritability, and other mood disorders. The clinic will be staffed by Dr. Darlene Ifill-Taylor, Dr. Kalpana Shanmugam, Dr. Chenel Michel, Dr. Bamidele Ajayi and Donald Rush, LCSW. Prior to joining Novant Health Primary Care Marvin Creek, these providers worked at various psychiatry associate clinics within the Novant Health network. Ifill-Taylor, Shanmugam, Michel and Ajayi are all board-certified in psychiatry.
