CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center’s main visitor parking deck (“Belk Deck” at the corner of Hawthorne Lane and Fifth Street) reopened today, Sept. 5, at 4 a.m., nearly three weeks ahead of schedule, following renovations.
Patients and visitors may resume parking on floors 1 through 4 of the Belk Deck. The North Wing Lobby, connected to the Belk Deck, will also reopen for patients and visitors to use 24/7. The front lobby, at 200 Hawthorne Lane, will return to being open Monday through Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Emergency room patients should continue to use the designated parking lot outside of the emergency room on Caswell Road.
Public safety officers will also be on hand to assist with directions and parking locations.
