WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Kelly Trenchard, CPA, has been promoted to senior vice president of corporate finance at Novant Health, a position which draws on her more than two decades of experience with the organization. In her new role, effective Jan. 3, she will build on ongoing efforts to enhance processes and ensure strong financial stewardship through disciplined regulatory compliance and governance.
Trenchard’s scope of responsibilities will include overseeing a broad enterprise portfolio, including financial reporting, general accounting, tax, corporate insurance and more, supporting the organization’s financial integrity and long-term sustainability.

Trenchard began her career at Novant Health in 2003, starting in internal audit and advancing through several leadership roles, including director of financial reporting, before being named vice president of financial reporting and reimbursement in 2014. She helped lead the patient accounting system transition as part of Novant Health’s move to an electronic health record.
Trenchard is a native of Winston-Salem and earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wake Forest University.
