Novant Health welcomes a beloved multiple sclerosis specialist back to the Triad

Dr. Nancy Rosales will provide patients with the latest in accessible, high-quality neurological care

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Today, multiple sclerosis specialty care became more accessible in the Triad thanks to the return of Dr. Nancy Rosales, a beloved neurologist who spent the last few years taking care of patients in Salisbury. Rosales, who previously cared for patients in Winston-Salem, is well-known across the region as an accomplished, board-certified physician with fellowship training in neuroimmunology.

Rosales will see patients at Novant Health Neurology & Sleep - Kimel Park in Winston-Salem from July 1 through early fall, and then relocate to a brand-new multiple sclerosis clinic with an on-site infusion center in Kernersville.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the return of Dr. Nancy Rosales to the Triad,” said Matt Schooler, director of the Novant Health Neurosciences Institute in the greater Winston-Salem region. “It’s no secret that Dr. Rosales is a sought-after physician, with some patients traveling from as far away as Asheville and Raleigh. Our goal is to position her for success with a modern new clinic that’s easy to access and well-equipped with the latest in advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.”

Rosales earned her medical degree at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and completed her residency program at the Cleveland Clinic. She went on to complete her fellowship training at New York University. In addition to an expertise in treating multiple sclerosis, she is also highly experienced in the treatment of other neurological conditions.

“There are more than 1 million people living with multiple sclerosis in the United States,” said Rosales. “As a complex illness, multiple sclerosis is often misdiagnosed. In fact, many patients suffer with worsening symptoms for years without ever receiving proper care. That’s why I’m pleased to be able to expand my practice by providing accessible and high-quality care for patients across the region.”

Novant Health Neurology & Sleep - Kimel Park is located at 190 Kimel Park Drive, and specializes in treating patients with neuromuscular issues, sleep problems and movement disorders like Parkinson’s disease. Rosales will provide care at this location from July 1 through early fall. To schedule an appointment, call 336-277-2200 or visit NovantHealth.org/NeuroSleepKimelPark.

Novant Health Multiple Sclerosis Care - Kernersville is set to open in the fall, and will be located at 1730 Kernersville Medical Parkway, Suite 201. Patients can expect to receive a personalized treatment plan to help manage symptoms and prevent new ones from developing.
