WILMINGTON, N.C. – Novant Health is further delivering upon its pledge to extend remarkable care across the Carolinas with the addition of the Coastal Vascular Institute, located at 1411 Physicians Drive, in the Wilmington Annex B building. Now operating as Novant Health Heart & Vascular, the clinic continues to serve the community at the same location.
“Welcoming this expert vascular care team as part of Novant Health allows us to better serve the rapidly growing and evolving healthcare needs of the Wilmington community and beyond,” said Ernie Bovio, president of the Novant Health Coastal Region. “Together, we look forward to expanding our vascular care services and expanding access to specialty care for our communities.”
Under its new affiliation with Novant Health, the clinic will continue to offer vascular and endovascular surgery, vein care, prosthetic care, wound care for lower extremity conditions and a full vascular ultrasound laboratory. It will also offer advanced on-site vascular imaging and minimally invasive procedures, including angioplasty and stent placement.
