WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Dr. Tyler Thompson joined Novant Health Winston-Salem Health Care Internal Medicine this month.
Before coming to Novant Health, Thompson worked as an internal medicine physician for Potomac Physician Associates in Germantown, Maryland. Prior to that he worked as a physician in Guam, including an outpatient clinic role for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.
Thompson received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and received his medical degree with distinction from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He completed his residency in internal medicine from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Novant Health Winston-Salem Health Care is located at 250 Charlois Blvd. in Winston-Salem.
