WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (June 26, 2024) – Highlighting Novant Health’s commitment to expert maternity care, Newsweek recently named the health system’s three largest hospitals to its America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2024 list. Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center — which together accounted for nearly 15,000 births in 2023 — were recognized for their leading maternity care outcomes and patient experience scores. To compile the list, Newsweek and its research partner Statista used nationwide online surveys, hospital quality metrics and patient experience surveys.
The recognition validates the ongoing work Novant Health is doing toward its long-term goal to improve outcomes for mothers and their newborns by increasing access to early and adequate prenatal care and addressing social determinants of health.
