Dr. R. Scott Spies knew at an early age that he was destined to be a pediatrician. However, his vocation − practicing children’s medicine at Novant Health Matthews Children’s Clinic − has not prevented him from pursuing his other passions of photography, motorcycling, performing opera and doing missionary work. He incorporates his interests into his daily work − to the delight of his young patients and their families.
