You’ve probably seen the Novant Health signs and the construction fences in different areas of Western North Carolina. Perhaps you are wondering what’s going on behind the barricades and what kind of specialty care will be added.
Well, here’s a sneak peek behind the fences and a glimpse into the future.
Outpatient care designed with you in mind
In the past year, we’ve partnered with trusted physicians from the Asheville area to open several new clinics. Novant Health Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery opened at Biltmore Park in early January. Women across the region have access to obstetric and gynecological experts at Novant Health Women’s Specialty Care on Ridgefield Drive. And, we’re excited to share that Novant Health Surgical Partners, currently on Peachtree Road in Asheville, is moving this summer into a larger, updated space at 60 Livingston St., in Asheville.
Even bigger developments are on the horizon.
Over the next year, you’ll see our construction crews put the finishing touches on the Novant Health South Asheville Medical Plaza. This new location, at 1815 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, is scheduled to open in spring 2026.
The plaza, constructed on a former Gold’s Gym site, will give you convenient access to various specialty clinics and procedural spaces. This site can accommodate more than 38,000 feet of clinical space, so we have ample room to offer expanded services in the future.
