Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care has opened its first urgent care in Huntersville, North Carolina, just north of uptown Charlotte at 9121 Sam Furr Rd. The new center is in Northcross Commons alongside Whole Foods Market, just off exit 25 on Interstate 77, providing the community with better access to high quality health care services.

The new, state-of-the-art urgent care center is designed to put its patients first. For example, it features an open floor plan so patients can easily interact with the clinical staff and larger treatment and exam rooms to accommodate patients' families and friends. And, the company's online tools make getting urgent care at the center as effortless as possible. Wait times at the Huntersville center are published on its website. Patients can use the website to select what time they show up, and online check-in and registration can be completed on patients' smartphones and tablets in order to further minimize wait times before seeing a clinical provider.
The Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care network currently has eight centers in Charlotte and 13 overall in North Carolina, with more centers opening before the end of 2019.
