THOMASVILLE, N.C. - Novant Health is pleased to announce the opening of Novant Health Neurology and Sleep - Thomasville, as well as the addition of two neurologists who are well-known in the area.
The new clinic, located at 1219 Lexington Ave., Suite B in Thomasville, will feature J. Keith Miller, MD, who most recently served as medical director at UNC Regional Physicians Neuroscience Center in High Point, North Carolina, and Leanne Willis, MD, who also was most recently with UNC Regional Physicians Neuroscience Center.
Dr. Miller, a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN), completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Rochester in New York before going on to complete his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his residency at The Dent Neurologic Institute in the Buffalo area and fellowship training at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is board-certified in neurology, electroencephalography and neurophysiology, as well as certified in computerized tomography, neurosonology and magnetic resonance imaging. He has been practicing locally as a medical director in High Point since 1988 and has served as a clinical instructor in neurology for Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Miller has been on staff at hospitals in Lexington and Asheboro, North Carolina.
Dr. Willis completed her bachelor’s degree at Emory University in Atlanta before going on to complete medical school at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She completed her residency and fellowship training at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and is board-certified in neurology, electrodiagnostic medicine and sleep medicine. In addition to her previous work at the former UNC High Point Regional Hospital in High Point, she also has served on the active staff of Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center and served on the consulting staff at hospitals in Lexington and Asheboro, North Carolina.
