Charlotte, NC, Oct 9, 2014 – In August, Novant Health opened a new urgent care with extended hours in Huntersville. Novant Health Lakeside Family Physicians Urgent Care (Northpoint) is the first urgent care in the area to be open until 11 p.m. Monday through Friday. Located at 16525 Holly Crest Lane, Suite 150, Lakeside Family Physicians Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday, noon to 8 p.m. Patients with severe or life-threatening problems should go to a hospital emergency room.
Lakeside Family Physicians operates like a primary care practice Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and services switch over to an urgent care after 5 p.m. for more unexpected needs. Walk-in urgent care appointments are also available during the day.
Lakeside Family Physicians Urgent Care provides walk-in services for non-threatening injuries and illnesses including:
- Minor wounds, bruises and other injuries
- Bronchitis, influenza, headaches and fever
- Minor rashes, skin infections and insect bites
- Inner ear and urinary tract infections
