Novant Health Announces $150,000 Partnership with Miracle Park, World’s First Park with Global Universal Design Certification

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Novant Health is pleased to announce a $150,000 partnership with Miracle Park, the world’s first park to receive Global Universal Design certification. This investment reinforces Novant Health’s commitment to building healthier, more inclusive communities across the greater Charlotte region.

Located at 1005 Eden Terrace in Rock Hill, Miracle Park is a nationally recognized destination designed to ensure children and families of all abilities can play, connect and thrive together. The park’s innovative design removes physical and social barriers, creating an environment where everyone belongs.

The partnership supports Miracle Park’s mission to create joyful, accessible outdoor experiences for children of all abilities, while advancing Novant Health’s broader focus on building remarkable futures for the community through access to safe spaces and opportunities to build social connection.

Global Universal Design certification, is awarded by the Global Universal Design Commission (GUDC). The certification recognizes buildings, products, and developments meeting high standards for usability, safety, and health for all people, regardless of age, ability, or background, going beyond basic accessibility to create truly inclusive environments.
