A women’s wine tasting, shopping and beauty event presented by Summit Plastic Surgery & Dermatology
Join Novant Health Foundation Brunswick Medical Center and other wine-sipping, fashion loving women as the Foundation hosts its first Glitz, Glamour & Glow event, sponsored by Summit Plastic Surgery and Dermatology, at 101 Stone Chimney Place, in Supply on November 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. Chair for this year’s event, Whitney Sauls, says that all proceeds from Glitz, Glamour & Glow will benefit the health of women & children in Brunswick County.
“This is a great opportunity for women to get together with a few girlfriends to have a fun afternoon while also helping improve the health of women and children in Brunswick County,” Sauls said.
Funds from the event will support an extensive women’s and children’s wellness outreach program in the Brunswick community. With an ultimate goal of improving the health of children in our community, the outreach initiative will focus on decreasing childhood obesity, decreasing the number of women who smoke while pregnant and increasing the rate of breastfed infants.
While supporting a great cause, participants at Glitz, Glamour & Glow will enjoy an afternoon filled with activities to indulge your palate and fashions to accentuate your beauty. Participants will have the opportunity to sip six sensational wines and enjoy culinary delicacies while shopping with specialty boutiques providing the latest fashions in accessories, clothing and shoes. A sampling of the boutiques participating include Bou’Tiki, Burning Lake Boutique, Island Breeze, J. Huffman, Lucy’s, Shop Girl, Stella & Dot, The Tulip Tree Boutique and Victoria’s Ragpatch. Coral Tree Salon & Day Spa will also support the event as a makeup partner while Family First Chiropractic will serve as a massage sponsor for the event.
In addition to shopping with the boutiques, guest will also enjoy the silent auction and the opportunity to view the latest fashions on the runway throughout the event. Randy Aldridge, anchor of WWAY’s Good Morning Carolina and host of “Your Hometown,” will serve as the emcee for Glitz, Glamour & Glow.
VIP tickets are available for $75 while general admission tickets are on sale for $50. VIP participants will receive a Glitz, Glamour & Glow swag bag, a signature wine glass and a variety of special gifts and offers from sponsors and fashion partners. Sponsorships for the event are also available.
The Novant Health Foundation Brunswick Medical Center was formed in 2011. In addition to the women’s and children’s outreach program, the Foundation in coordination with hospital volunteers, constructed a Healing & Respite Courtyard on the campus of Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center.
