KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center announced today the fifth annual Oooh Bra La La breast cancer awareness event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 27, 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center Lambe Conference Center.
The festive “girls’ night out” celebrates breast cancer survivors while also providing information on cancer treatment, services, prevention and detection. Food, wine, entertainment, silent auction and the annual artistic brassiere contest will make for an evening you do not want to miss.
Entries for the contest are now being accepted. The more creative the better! Embellish a bra or build a bra from your choice of materials and deliver your work of art to the medical center no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24. Those attending the event vote for the best bras. The proceeds go to breast cancer support. Bras can be entered by individuals, businesses, schools, churches or clubs!
