Institute brings together cancer experts, leading-edge technology and resources in one location     SALISBURY, N.C. – Novant Health today announced the opening of the Novant Health Wallace Cancer Institute, a 32,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art comprehensive cancer treatment center dedicated to providing Rowan County residents with life-giving care close to home. The new facility, a department of Novant Health Rowan Medical Center, brings together cancer experts, leading-edge technology and resources designed for ensuring patient comfort and healing, all in one location.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to announce Jason Bernd as president and chief operating officer of Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. In this role, Bernd will lead overall hospital operations and collaborate with Novant Health Institutes and the Novant Health Medical Group to successfully implement strategic initiatives that align with the mission and vision of Novant Health.

BOLIVIA, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Steven Nunns to Novant Health OB/GYN. Nunns will primarily practice at Novant Health OB/GYN - Bolivia, but will also practice at the Leland, Southport and Calabash clinics. He joined in August and is accepting new patients.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ― In an effort to expedite the visitor screening process to enter Novant Health hospitals, the health system is offering an online routine COVID-19 screening questionnaire that patients and visitors are encouraged to complete prior to arrival. The screening questionnaire can be accessed at NovantHealth.org/visitorscreening or by scanning the QR code below. Patients and visitors will still receive a temperature assessment upon arrival.

The Women’s Center at Novant Health’s SouthPark Medical Plaza, a 36,000-square-foot space located on the fourth floor, houses 10 specialty clinics with convenient, concierge-like amenities, including: a guest services representative to greet and assist patients, appointment and referral coordinators and online scheduling with e-check in capabilities.

Six family physicians and nurse practitioner rejoin Novant from Holston Medical Group      CHARLOTTE, N.C.― Novant Health is pleased to announce six family physicians and a family nurse practitioner who left Novant Health in 2019 to join Holston Medical Group (HMG) are returning August 16, 2020. The providers will continue caring for patients from the same location in Mooresville under the new name Novant Health LKN Family Medicine.
