WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health, which first implemented visitor restrictions in March to help control the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses, today announced it will begin to lift some of those restrictions. The new visitation policies detailed below will go into effect Monday, June 8. 

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ― Novant Health and Wake Forest Baptist Health announced the opening of a new respiratory assessment center at the Highland Avenue Primary Care Clinic. Beginning Friday, June 5, the respiratory assessment center, located at 650 N. Highland Ave., Suite 120 in Winston-Salem, will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ― Beginning Wednesday, June 3, hours of operation for all Novant Health respiratory and screening assessment centers in North Carolina will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

First Ongoing Long-Range Drone Logistics Flights Approved by FAA Novant Health Becomes First Hospital System Granted Part 107 Waiver CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Today, Novant Health, Inc., a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system headquartered in North Carolina, announced the launch of America’s first emergency drone logistics operation by a hospital for its pandemic response. Grant to support construction on Wallace Cancer Institute slated to open August 2020 SALISBURY, N.C. – Novant Health Rowan Medical Center (NHRMC) Foundation has been awarded a $100,000 grant from the Philip L. Van Every Foundation. Funding will support the new Wallace Cancer Institute opening in Salisbury in August 2020. The institute will serve patients with research-based health solutions delivered through multiple medical disciplines, nurse navigation, state-of-the-art equipment and clinical trials in a single location.
