CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 18, 2017 – Novant Health Bariatric Solutions - Charlotte recently relocated to a new state-of-the-art facility near the campus of Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. This new facility, located at 325 Hawthorne Lane, Suite 100, is designed to offer a supportive environment that is more accessible for bariatric patients.
At the clinic, patients are assessed with their current health information, lifestyle and past weight loss challenges. Then, bariatric and weight loss experts customize a weight loss plan to provide the support needed to achieve and maintain weight loss goals. Patients will continue to receive holistic, multidisciplinary weight management services from a staff of dietitians, counselors, athletic trainers, medical bariatricians and bariatric surgeons.

Bariatric surgeons and bariatricians at this location include lead physician and medical director of the Novant Health Bariatric Center, Dr. David Voellinger, as well as Dr. Ellen Carraro, Dr. Craig Kolasch and Dr. Mayssoun Elchoufi. All surgeons perform a range of weight loss procedures including gastric bypass, adjustable gastric banding, band over bypass, vertical sleeve gastrectomy, biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch and revisional weight loss surgery.
