CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Novant Health Heart and Vascular Institute has opened a satellite location in the Steele Creek community. The clinic is located at 13425 Hoover Creek Blvd., Suite 101, Charlotte, NC 28273. The clinic is open on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The clinic is staffed by Dr. Amjad AlMahameed. He is board-certified in both interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease. Along with general cardiology management, his specialties include: complex coronary and peripheral interventions, peripheral arterial disease, critical limb ischemia, limb salvage, renal artery stenosis, carotid stenting, intervention therapies for pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis, IVC filter retrieval, heart attack, angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy and claudication.
