Gaitley earned her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. She completed a pediatric residency followed by a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. Board-certified in pediatrics and sports medicine,
Gaitley has served as a team physician at both the high school and collegiate level and has also provided physician coverage at the Cleveland marathon, the Cleveland triathlon and statewide youth soccer tournaments. Her primary areas of interest include care of female athletes, overuse injuries and fracture management. Outside of work, Gaitley enjoys hiking, yoga and spending time with her husband exploring their new home state.
Turner attended SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, followed by a residency in pediatrics at the University of Connecticut. He went on to complete a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Turner completed an additional six months of training in the care of general nonoperative orthopedic conditions before starting to practice. He spent four years as an attending physician within CHOP orthopedics, treating children and adolescents from infancy through college for sports and musculoskeletal concerns, including acute and overuse injuries, simple fractures, joint pains and concussions.
Novant Health Pediatric Sports Medicine offers a wide range of services, including care for sport-related concussions, musculoskeletal injuries, overuse injuries, casting, nutrition issues and nonsurgical fracture management.
