BOLIVIA, N.C. – Heather King has been named president and chief operating officer of Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center. King previously served as chief nursing officer and director of operations of Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center in Clemmons, North Carolina, and will take the role effective Aug. 14, 2022.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A big smile spread across Olivia Reardon’s face last night as she and her parents Kevin Reardon and Christina Meyers presented a $500,000 charitable gift from the OliviaStrong Foundation to Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital at the 24th annual Novant Health Hemby Golf Classic. The funds will be used to support Hemby Children’s Hospital, which serves more than 100,000 children each year, to ensure that the hospital is well-positioned to meet the growing pediatric health care needs of the community.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – Novant Health shared today that, in an effort to be as transparent as possible, it will begin mailing letters to some of its patients following possible disclosure of protected health information (PHI) resulting from an incorrect configuration of a pixel, an online tracking tool.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Novant Health has named Ben Brodersen as the president and chief operating officer of Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center, which is scheduled to open in 2023. Brodersen joined Novant Health Aug. 1.  

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health has announced Kim Henderson, senior vice president and chief of staff to the CEO, will now also serve as the enterprise patient experience officer for Novant Health. Henderson will continue to lead corporate health initiatives while assuming additional responsibilities to enhance and continually improve the overall experience of patients throughout the entire Novant Health system.
