WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health has been ranked No. 17 in the nation and third among U.S. health systems in the 2023 Diversity MBA Magazine Rankings for “Best Places to Work for Women & Diverse Managers.” Diversity MBA is a national leadership organization integrating diversity and inclusion with talent management.
“We are honored to be recognized again as a national leader by Diversity MBA Magazine,” said Carmen Canales, senior vice president, chief people and belonging officer, Novant Health. “At Novant Health, we are committed to developing a culture that fosters a true sense of belonging by ensuring the voices, strengths and talents of each individual are recognized and celebrated.”
The companies are ranked using Diversity MBA’s benchmarking metrics, which measure how companies and organizations are investing in intentional strategies to advance women and managers who are people of color and create a sustainable culture of belonging and inclusion.
Diversity MBA’s methodology consists of a multitiered process that involves primary and secondary research. Companies are selected based on scores on seven categories: strategy, representation, board diversity, recruitment, workplace inclusion and retention, succession planning and accountability.
