CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On center field of The Charlotte Independence Soccer Club’s new home turf, representatives from Novant Health joined Independence players on Wednesday to announce the renewal of a four-year strategic partnership. CHARLOTTE AND CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) has determined Novant Health and UNC School of Medicine have adequate resources to proceed with training UNC School of Medicine students at the Novant Health Charlotte Campus in February 2022. WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ― Novant Health today announced that all of its mass vaccination sites will be closed Monday, July 5 in observance of the national holiday. Beginning Tuesday, July 6, its four mass vaccination sites will have reduced hours due to decreased vaccine demand and changes in operational needs. The health care system also announced that the number of primary adult and pediatric care clinics that can administer the COVID-19 vaccine continues to increase. Today, more than 60 clinics are administering vaccines to their patients with another 45 clinics to be added over the coming weeks.
