WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Research shows that 72 percent of internet users have conducted searches for health information within the past year and 56 percent of them consider online reviews of providers to be important when deciding who to trust for their health care. To meet this consumer demand for information, Novant Health is launching online reviews of Novant Health Medical Group physicians based on data collected through patient experience surveys.

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center broke ground today for its new four-story, 50,000-square-foot hospital wing and 20,000-square-foot renovation project that will include 48 additional patient beds, an operating room, and renovations to several areas. With this $50 million expansion, Huntersville Medical Center will become a 139-bed hospital that is prepared to meet the healthcare needs of one of the fastest-growing communities in the Charlotte area.  

“King of the Court” volleyball fundraiser donates over $5,500 to hospital foundation   SALISBURY, N.C.  ― Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Foundation partnered with Rowan-Salisbury area high schools to host the second annual King of the Court, a junior and senior all-male volleyball fundraiser. Together, the six area high schools raised over $5,500. All proceeds will be donated to the hospital foundation in support of its breast health fund which covers the cost of mammograms, diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds for women who are uninsured or underinsured.

In this new role, Yochem will develop the strategic vision for how Novant Health can engage with patients through technology and improve their healthcare experience. Additionally, she will lead the implementation of digital media solutions across the system including design, development, operations and support.
