MADISON, N.C. –Novant Health Primary Care Associates Madison is hosting a free community wellness screening event on Saturday, Sept. 30 at its location at 723 Ayersville Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health Waughtown Pediatrics opened on Sept. 20 and is accepting new patients. The clinic is located at 648 E. Monmouth St. in Winston-Salem and will hold an open house Saturday, Oct. 21, from noon to 3 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Novant Health has again increased patient access to cancer services by adding three medical oncologists to its team of cancer experts. Drs. Deborah Ann Bradley, Lilian Thomas-Harris and Obiageli Ogbata have recently joined Novant Health Cancer Specialists and are accepting new patients in the Charlotte office.                  

HICKORY, N.C., – Neurology Associates, based in Hickory, North Carolina, has joined Novant Health as Novant Health Neurology this month as Novant Health continues its efforts to meet growing patient needs in neurology care.

BOLIVIA, N.C. – On Aug. 1, general surgeon Dr. J. Andrew Smith joined Novant Health Surgical Associates. Novant Health Surgical Associates has offices located in Bolivia, Leland, Carolina Shores and Southport.

MATTHEWS, N.C. – Novant Health Matthews Children’s Clinic is pleased to welcome two new pediatricians, Drs. Scott Thomas and Meredith Davitte. Both physicians are accepting new patient appointments.

Dr. Gin Lou joins Novant Health Waxhaw Family & Sports Medicine   WAXHAW, N.C. – Novant Health Waxhaw Family & Sports Medicine is pleased to welcome Dr. Gin Lou to the clinic. She joins Drs. Derrick Blackwell, Lilian Evans, Howard Guthmann, Robert Malecki and Rosanna Silva in providing family-centered primary care services for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. She also joins Drs. Eric Warren and Anthony Walker who provide sports medicine and physical therapy services.         

Chaplains, community clergy, first responders and other caregivers invited to attend       SALISBURY, N.C. ― Novant Health Rowan Medical Center and the Salisbury Fire Department have partnered to host another free seminar for chaplains, community clergy, first responders and other caregivers. The focus will be on the self-care and wellness of these at-risk groups who are committed to providing crucial support to survivor-victims of traumatic events. A brief overview of the first seminar, held in July, will also be included for new attendees.    

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., – Novant Health Cardiology, which has nine locations around the Triad and southern Virginia, is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Un Ju Kim to its team. Kim began on Sept. 1 and is taking new patients. Her addition comes after Novant Health announced last month it is adding three other heart and vascular doctors.
