Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 14 – Novant Health Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine opened Sept. 14 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Located at 8450 Park Road, the facility near the Quail Hollow community offers walk-in care Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Brunswick, N.C., Sept. 14, 2016 – In September, Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center was the recipient of a CuddleCot. A CuddleCot is a cooling system for a Moses basket bassinet that allows families who have a stillborn baby or whose baby dies shortly after birth to extend the amount of time they have to spend with their child, if they choose.

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 14 – Novant Health Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics opened Sept. 14 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Located inside of Presbyterian Medical Tower at 1718 E 4th Street, Suite 601, the new clinic in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood provides patients and families with comprehensive care of developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD and more.

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 14 – Novant Health Pulmonary and Critical Care opened its doors on Sept. 14 in Monroe, North Carolina. Located conveniently off of Highway 74 at 2000 Wellness Boulevard, Suite 130, the facility is Novant Health’s first pulmonary medicine clinic in Union County that’s open five days a week. 

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 14 – Novant Health Endocrinology Cotswold opened Sept. 14 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Located at 330 Billingsley Road, Suite 101, the facility in the Cotswold community provides care for patients Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Charlotte, N.C. Aug. 19, 2016 – For the fifth year in a row, Novant Health will treat high school sports injuries after-hours at its sports injury clinics now through Nov. 12. The clinics will take place at Novant Health Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine in Matthews on Fridays from 10 to 11 p.m. and at Novant Health Lakeside Family Physicians and Urgent Care (19485 Old Jetton Road, Suite 100, Cornelius, North Carolina) on Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m.

On Friday, Sept. 9, the Novant Health Foundation Brunswick Medical Center will host its fifth annual golf tournament at Carolina National Golf Course at Winding River. The year’s tournament will again be hosted by the volunteers at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, and the co-chairmen are Bob Curts and John LeFebvre.

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 10 – Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center announced today that the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services has officially designated the hospital as a level III trauma center. This achievement recognizes that Presbyterian Medical Center meets the state criteria to provide around-the-clock assessment, resuscitation, stabilization and life-saving intervention to patients experiencing traumatic injury.    

Bolivia, N.C., August 8, 2016 – Novant Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Stefani Connel to Novant Health Family & Internal Medicine South Brunswick. Connel joined the clinic in August and is accepting new patients.

Matthews, N.C., Aug. 8, 2016 – Novant Health Matthews Medical Center has opened a brand new Women’s Center. The two-story, 26,000-square-foot addition links directly to the hospital and serves as a one-stop shop for the community’s maternity and gynecologic needs.

Bolivia, N.C., Aug. 2 – This year, Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center celebrates its fifth anniversary in the new facility and its 10th anniversary since joining Novant Health.
