Bolivia, N.C., March 14, 2016 – Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center is now offering a monthly ostomy support group for patients to share experiences, provide support to one another and learn about the most updated products and ostomy information. A certified wound ostomy nurse will be at each meeting to answer questions and address concerns.

Cancer fund renamed in honor of longtime Novant Health physician

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A Novant Health Foundation Forsyth Medical Center cancer fund has been renamed the Elms Allen Cancer Fund, and will be used to give support to cancer patients. The change was created to honor Dr. Elms Allen’s retirement from Novant Health after many years of service. Allen was instrumental in the creation of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center’s  Derrick L. Davis Cancer Center.

Novant Health team members pledge more than $1 million to local communities

Winston-Salem, N.C., Feb. 22, 2016 – In 2015, 6,583 Novant Health team members pledged $1,398,759.74 to their local communities through the Novant Health team member giving campaign, Giving. Serving. Together. The campaign lasted from Sept. 21 to Oct. 30. The average per-person donation was $212.48.
