BOLIVIA, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to announce that Cynthia Cheatham has been named development manager for the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center Foundation. Cheatham joined Novant Health in March.
In her new role, Cheatham will lead the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center Foundation in developing fundraising plans, major gift initiatives, campaigns and planned giving.
Before coming to Novant Health, Cheatham worked at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, North Carolina as an outreach provider representative and a development manager. In her role as a development manager, she was responsible for day to day operations and activities specific to meeting a $3.5 million capital campaign financial goal in Brunswick County – which she exceeded ahead of schedule.
Cheatham has been involved with Novant Health in several capacities for many years, most recently serving as the vice chairwoman on the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center Foundation board of directors. She also served as co-chairwoman for the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center Foundation’s Flip Flop Ball from 2014 to 2016.
