WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health is one of “America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025,” ranking among the top companies headquartered in North Carolina. This is the sixth consecutive year Novant Health has been included in the rankings, which are developed and published by Forbes and the market research firm Statista.
The recognition highlights continued investments Novant Health is making to hire top talent and foster team member well-being, from creating new opportunities for internal advancement, to supporting mental wellness and financial health.

- Leadership and professional development opportunities, including Novant Health Future Forward, a debt-free education program for team members to earn professional certifications, and undergraduate or graduate degrees, pre-paid by Novant Health; and the Upward Mobility RN Educational Assistance Fund, which covers tuition and fees for team members interested in becoming registered nurses.
- Support through well-being resources including an Employee Assistance Program, spiritual care, health programs and NeuroFlow, a free and confidential mobile health app for assessing and managing stress.
- Initiatives that help team members build connections around shared identities across the organization, including award-winning business resource groups.
According to Forbes, the rankings are developed based on an independent survey of more than 160,000 employees who work for companies with at least 500 employees in the state in which they’re being ranked. The survey is open to companies from all industries and is conducted periodically over the course of three years, resulting in about 2 million evaluations assessing the attitudes of employees and the general public about topics including the company’s reputation, salary and other compensation, opportunities for advancement, access to technology and more.
