Southport, N.C. – Novant Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of a new primary care physician to Comprehensive Medical Associates in Southport.
Dr. Nancy Gerber brings more than 18 years of experience in internal medicine to Comprehensive Medical Associates. Board certified in internal medicine, she has most recently practiced at the Veteran's Administration in a community-based outpatient clinic in Wilmington, N.C. Prior to that, Dr. Gerber spent most of her 18 years as a physician with North Fulton Internal Medicine Group in Roswell, Ga. She is a graduate of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va., and Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va.
"I am looking forward to getting to know the Brunswick community," said Dr. Gerber. "I truly believe in the concept of individualized care for each patient, a philosophy that Comprehensive Medical Associates has exercised for many years."
Comprehensive Medical Associates joined the Novant Medical Group on January 1. The Novant Medical Group is a network of primary care and specialty physicians affiliated with the not-for-profit healthcare system, Novant Health, which includes Brunswick Novant Medical Center.
Comprehensive Medical Associates offers adult and senior care, preventive healthcare, physical exams, care for acute and ongoing illness, routine lab tests and same-day sick appointments.
