North Carolina High School Performance Combine hosted by Novant Health Sports & Performance Medicine powered by EXOS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Novant Health will host the “North Carolina High School Performance Combine” at Hough High School, in Cornelius, North Carolina, Saturday, April 21, at 9 a.m. High school athletes are encouraged to participate to see where they rank in relation to local and national competition. Data will be given after the event, allowing the athletes to track their own individual progress.

The combine is for male and female athletes entering grades 9 to 12. Components of the combine will include a vertical jump, broad hop, 5-0-5 agility test, medicine ball reverse scoop throw and laser timed 10-yard, 20-yard and 40-yard dashes. Athletes will also receive education on how to properly warm up along with the proper mechanics for executing each test.

Athletes will need to bring signed forms, comfortable athletic apparel, molded cleats/sneakers, sunscreen, water and snacks. The cost per athlete is $19 and participants can register online at NovantHealth.org/EXOS by clicking on “high school performance combines,” or they can register on-site beginning at 8:30 the morning of the combine. Release forms are available on the website.

The combine will be run by Novant Health Sports & Performance Medicine powered by EXOS, a rehabilitation and performance center with locations in Huntersville and Arboretum.
