SHALLOTTE, N.C., June 5, 2015 – Novant Health Oceanside Family Medicine & Convenient Care in Shallotte is growing to meet the healthcare needs of the community with the addition of three new providers at the practice and construction, now underway, of a new addition.
In recent months, Olga Samplawski, PA-C, Jennifer Schweer, FNP-BC, and Jennifer Cully, FNP-C, have joined Oceanside Family Medicine & Convenient Care in Shallotte.
Samplawski is a certified physician assistant. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and went on to obtain her Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies at
Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, Florida. Most recently, she worked at Novant Health Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine in Matthews, North Carolina. Samplawski will work exclusively in Oceanside’s convenient care, which is designed for more urgent medical needs.
Schweer is a certified family nurse practitioner. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Prior to receiving her master’s degree, she spent several years in nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
Cully is also a certified family nurse practitioner, and she most recently practiced at Varnam Family Wellness Center in Shallotte. Cully received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Prior to joining Varnam Family Wellness Center, Cully worked for several years on the mother/baby unit at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Both Schweer and Cully are accepting new patients of all ages, from infants and children to adults and seniors.
“We are proud to have three new, highly qualified providers on our staff,” said Chris Isenhour, M.D., who is the lead physician at Oceanside Family Medicine & Convenient Care. “Jennifer Cully brings a great deal of local experience, having cared for patients in the Shallotte area for many years already, and both Olga Samplawski and Jennifer Schweer have excellent training and experience to offer our community.”
“As many of our patients have noticed, we are quickly outgrowing our facility,” Isenhour said. “We are very excited to have our renovation underway.”
The renovation will increase parking at the clinic and add 12 new exam rooms. There will, of course, also be a few cosmetic updates throughout the facility, Isenhour stated. Construction is expected to be complete by July 2015.
