Oak Island, N.C., March 15, 2016 – Novant Health recently announced it will open a family medicine clinic at the new Pine Forest Plantation community on Highway 211 in Brunswick County. The family medicine office will be the first facility on the grounds of the new retirement community.
“We are excited to establish our presence in Pine Forest Plantation,” said Shelbourn Stevens, president of Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center. “One of our goals is to make the healthcare experience simpler and more convenient, and we know this new location will be an asset to those who live in and around this unique community.”
The family medicine clinic is scheduled to open in late 2017. Equity Investment Associates LLC, Davis Moore Capital LLC and Legacy Community Partners LLC are partnering together in the initial development of Pine Forest Plantation.
“We are honored to bring quality health care to the Pine Forest Plantation medical campus and the local community,” said David Davis, director of marketing for Pine Forest Plantation. “Novant Health will provide an expansion of medical services to Pine Forest Plantation, which will have a future mix of retail, dining and entertainment that will benefit visitors, tourists and residents of Brunswick County.”
“Novant Health represents a valued partnership for the Pine Forest Plantation development and the local community,” said Chris Maynor of Legacy Community Partners LLC. “This alliance paves the way for access to needed wellness services and opens the door to other complimentary medical service providers, commercial interests, and those seeking residential homes in the near future.”
The community will be invited to a groundbreaking later this spring. For more information about Pine Forest Plantation, visit pineforestplantation.com or call 888-919-1727.
