Novant Health Foundation Announces Flip Flop Ball

First baby born at Novant Health Haymarket Medical Center

March 31, 2014
Juliana and Daniel of Gainesville, VA, welcomed their baby boy on March 27 at the new Novant Health Haymarket Medical Center located at 15225 Heathcote Blvd., near the intersection of Interstate 66 and Route 15. At 8 pounds, 12 ounces, their son Isaac was delivered at 10:24 a.m. by Dr. Eugene Louie-Ng of Novant Health Lake Manassas OB/GYN with offices in Gainesville and South Riding, VA. Baby Isaac, younger brother to older sister Victoria, will claim the distinction of first baby born at Haymarket Medical Center. As part of the distinction, the family received a large gift basket from the Novant Health Auxiliary filled with local goodies.

Novant Health reports 2013 audited financial results

Health system reports net income of $273 million and community benefit of $566 million Novant Health announced today the 2013 audited financial results for the not-for-profit healthcare system. For 2013, the system reported a net income of $273 million on operating revenue of $3.6 billion. The system also reported a community benefit of $566 million, including $129 million of direct charity care.

Novant Health Announces Opening of Haymarket Medical Center

Northern Virginia gets a new hospital; located near the intersection of I-66 and Rt. 15 Novant Health Haymarket Medical Center opened its doors earlier this morning for care and services. The new four-story, 60-bed community hospital will serve the growing and diverse northern Virginia community. The 221,000-square-foot facility, designed to transform healthcare, houses a full complement of services, including emergency care, surgery, cancer care, women’s and children’s services, including maternity care, imaging, cardiac diagnostics, interventional radiology and critical care.
