Novant Health brings national Check Your Blind Spots bus tour to Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– This afternoon, Novant Health hosted the CEO Action Check Your Blind Spots bus tour to help community members explore their unconscious biases. Novant Health invited team members, Atrium Health employees and Central Piedmont Community College students to walk through the interactive and immersive elements on the bus, which are designed to help participants better understand and recognize unconscious biases or blind spots that can narrow vision and influence our behaviors.

Area hospitals restrict access to avoid spread of flu

To help curb the spread of flu, Novant Health is asking the community for assistance Winston-Salem, N.C. – Out of concern for the health and well-being of our patients, Novant Health is asking the community to keep visitors age 12 and under out of all acute care facilities due to the widespread outbreak of the flu virus throughout the community. This restriction is effective on Friday, Feb. 8, at 7 a.m. until further notice.

SALISBURY, N.C. – Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Breast Imaging Center has been granted a three-year/full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. Accreditation by the NAPBC is only given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.
