 CHARLOTTE, N.C. – During the 9th annual Catwalk for a Cause fundraising event, 2017 NASCAR Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. and his partner, Sherry Pollex announced a $1.2 million gift to Novant Health from the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation. The gift will be used to establish the Novant Health Martin Truex Jr. Foundation Children’s Emergency Department in Huntersville and the SherryStrong Integrative Medicine Oncology Clinic in Charlotte. 

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Addiction Professionals of North Carolina (APNC) recently recognized Novant Health with the Outstanding Recovery Ally Award at the organization’s spring conference in Asheville, North Carolina. Middle and high school student-athletes can sign up for a free sports screening CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Novant Health is hosting the eighth annual “Competitive Edge” sports screening days for student-athletes in the greater Charlotte area. Sports screenings are required by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association before participating in any athletic activity. On May 19 and June 2, Novant Health will provide these screenings free of charge at various clinic locations.

BOLIVIA, N.C. – At a recent volunteer appreciation event, Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center leaders recognized the hospital’s 222 volunteers for the 29,532 hours of time – and the vital contributions – they gave to the hospital in 2017. Traditional volunteers and volunteer chaplains were celebrated with a luncheon at the River Room at Lockwood Folly.
