Novant Health offers ‘black and blue clinic’ to address high school sports injuries

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Just in time for the start of a new sports season, Novant Health has opened two "black and blue" clinics dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of sports-related injuries. In Charlotte, the clinic is available Friday evenings from 10 to 11 p.m. inside of Novant Health Urgent Care - Waverly, 11840 Southmore Drive, suite 100. In Cornelius, the clinic will be available Saturday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. at Novant Health Lakeside Family Physicians, 19485 Old Jetton Road, suite 100. 

Novant Health Rowan Medical Center receives $900,000 grant from the Kiser Fund

 SALISBURY, N.C. –The Kiser Fund has given over $900,000 in grant funding to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. The purpose of the Kiser Fund is to honor the late Dr. and Mrs. Glenn A. Kiser and their commitment to the quality health services at Rowan Medical Center by funding programs which enhance patient care.

Soccer performance camp hosted by Novant Health Sports & Performance Medicine powered by EXOS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Novant Health Sports & Performance Medicine powered by EXOS will host soccer performance camps for middle and high school athletes beginning July 9. The camp for middle school athletes (12 to 14 years old) will be held from July 9 to 12, from 4 to 6 p.m. Camp for high school athletes (15 to 18 years old) will be held from July 16 to 19, from 4 to 6 p.m.
