CHARLOTTE, N.C.– This afternoon, Novant Health hosted the CEO Action Check Your Blind Spots bus tour to help community members explore their unconscious biases. Novant Health invited team members, Atrium Health employees and Central Piedmont Community College students to walk through the interactive and immersive elements on the bus, which are designed to help participants better understand and recognize unconscious biases or blind spots that can narrow vision and influence our behaviors.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – ONE Charlotte Health Alliance, formed by Atrium Health, Novant Health and the Mecklenburg County Health Department, have partnered to bring two all-new mobile health units to provide medical, dental and behavioral health services to areas defined as Public Health Priority Areas in the Charlotte area.

SALISBURY, N.C. – Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Breast Imaging Center has been granted a three-year/full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. Accreditation by the NAPBC is only given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.

SALISBURY, N.C. – Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of three area professionals to serve on the foundation board, which provides stewardship and oversight of its operations and activities. The new members are Dr. Brandon Aron, Dr. Aerik Williams and Traci Williams. The new appointments will be replacing Dr. Hetal Amin-Patel, Perry Hood, Andy Porter and Carole Simmons.
